  We very much enjoyed. Although renovated the feel of the Beach cottage was kept. The breeze was wonderful and AC was not needed. Wonderful spot both during the day and at night. Can be very loud during day with so many beach goers, but the cost of being so close. 1⁄2 hour to City and Waikiki. Need car. Very nice caretakers on property.

  We are so glad we picked this house for our 30 day stay in Lani Kai. Didn’t miss a single sunrise, the house is clean and perfectly designed. We had to quarantine for 14 days, it didn’t matter. There wasn’t anywhere else we would have rather been. The location of the house is right on the best part of the beach, with the most sand . lots of privacy in the yard. Thanks to Gloria and Roger for their fine touches to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back!!

  The house was exceptionally well equipped with everything needed for a family holiday. I stayed with my husband, son and his family including 2 young children. Absolutely loved our vacation there and actually didn't want to sightsee but stay by the beach and relax,swim,snorkel,build sandcastles and cook meals in the wonderful kitchen. We are long term vegetarians and loved eating and shopping at Kailua Down To Earth shop.
  Also, Morning Brew cafe is our favorite for coffee and pancakes and Lanikai Juice perfect for fruit smoothies and fruit bowls. But my most favorite place was Kama'aina.

  This magical house is on the best part of Lanikai Beach, one of the best beaches in the world!!! There is a lovely reef for snorkeling right in front of the house, and you can swim or kayak forever, or just paddle around in the shallows. The water is a beautiful shade of turquoise, like Caribbean waters. The ocean was like a lake the entire week I was there. Kailua Bay is quite protected from big surf. The house itself is completely remodeled, lovely, and extremely comfortable, very well-equipped. There is a private path to the beach that takes thirty seconds to walk. Sitting in the house or yard is a great option to avoid sitting in the sun all day. The house is a five minute drive from Kailua town, which has everything you could need. The sun rises right behind the house over the ocean. I saw the flash on two mornings! I will be dreaming of my next visit there!!!

  When we reserved this property, I was skeptical that it would live up to the pictures. However the photos actually undersell the experience.
  
  It was a wonderful place for my wife, I, and our three kids (6yo, 3yo, 5mo infant).
  
  The ocean breeze along with the ceiling fans made each night really comfortable, and the location was unbeatable.
  
  We visit Hawaii frequently, and this was our best property yet. We will definitely be returning.

  I stayed at Lanikai beach house with my family. The house was just a perfect base for great Hawaiian holidays. The location in front of the beach, cozy atmosphere with good taste furniture, ocean breath from the window, large kitchen etc, the house has everything you need for a good holiday.
